  Khaplu fort is an ancient fort and palace situated in Khaplu, in northern Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region. In the mid-19th century, the palace, considered an architectural heritage and a tourist attraction, was built, replacing an earlier fort nearby. It served as a royal residence for Khaplu's Raja. Only a few miles east of Skardu, Khaplu is a lovely village with picturesque terraced fields rising all kinds of crops. Khaplu was once a kingdom that was prominent and prosperous, and Khaplu Palace was once the local ruler's residential fort. The Aga Khan recently expressed interest in the palace, which has now been converted into an elegant hotel to house our guests. Virgin Holidays praised the rescue and reconstruction work of the palace for having social and economic impact on the locals of the area.  Hunza is located in Pakistan's northern portion of Gilgit-Baltistan, bordering Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the west and China's Xinjiang region to the northeast . At an elevation of 2,438 meters, the Hunza Valley is (7,999 feet). Hunza consists of three regions geographically: Upper Hunza (Gojal), Middle Hunza ('Hunza Valley') and Lower Hunza ("Shinaki"). The primary religions in the region were Buddhism, and, to a lesser degree, Bön. There are a number of remaining Buddhist archaeological sites in the area, such as Hunza's Holy Rock. The former sites of Buddhist shelters are nearby. As a trade route from Central Asia to the subcontinent, the valley of Hunza was central.   In the Northern Pakistan district of Gilgit Baltistan, Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain and national park. At an average elevation of 4,114 meters above sea level, the Deosai Plains are considered the second highest plateau in the world. "In his poem, "Saif al-Mulook," the name came from the folk tale immortalized by Mian Muhammad Baksh; the word "Deosai" means "the Shadow of the Giant": the word "Deo" is a contraction of "Deva," and the word "Sai" is one of "Saya," i.e. "Shadow. This location is named 'Ghbiarsa' by Balti citizens, translating to 'Summer's Place' since it is only accessible in summer. Fairy Meadow is a place situated at the base of Nanga Parbat, about 3,300 meters high on the eastern side of the Himaliya. As it is packed with green meadows and trees, many have dubbed it 'Heaven on Earth'. This paradise attracts back packers, photographers, geologists, nature lovers, among many others, every year to marvel at the beauty of nature.  Called by German climbers and locally known as Jaugth, Fairy Meadows is a grassland near one of Nanga Parbat's base camp sites, located in the Diamer District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The Fairy Meadows six-month tourist season begins in April and lasts until the end of September. "Tourists lodge at a campsite spread over 800 hectares (2,000 acres), known as "Raikot Serai.Although partly developed, the Fairy Meadows site generates around PKR 17 million tourism revenue, mainly through the provision of food, transport and accommodation services.
